LED string lights from US brands and US-based sellers

7 US brands and sellers surfaced here at $9.34 to $44.99, each verified from Amazon's own published seller info. Last verified September 13, 2026.

A decent string light comes down to the wire jacket, the solder joints at each bulb, and whether the thing is actually rated for where you're hanging it. Cheap versions skip the rubber jacket for brittle PVC and skip weatherproofing altogether, then call it 'outdoor' anyway.

What to look for in a good LED string light

  • Wire jacket material. Look for a rubber or thick vinyl coated wire, not a thin stiff plastic that cracks after one winter outside.
  • IP rating on the box. If you're stringing lights outdoors, an IP44 or better rating matters more than bulb count, since unrated sets corrode at the first socket after a rainstorm.
  • Bulb connection points. Check how each bulb attaches to the wire, soldered or crimped joints hold up, glued-in bulbs pop loose and go dark in patches within a season.
  • Price as a signal. US-based sellers in this category run about $8 to $45, and anything priced well under that floor is usually cutting the wire gauge or skipping weatherproofing to hit the number.

We read each seller's registered country from Amazon's own published seller info. We don't claim anything here is manufactured in the US, only that you're buying from a US brand or a US-based seller.
